May Our God and Father, of our most precious Jesus Christ console you even now. Though Uncle Basil has been gone for some time. I am sure the pain at times is still unbearable. May the God of all comfort, comfort you in such times as only He can. He knows every tear and cares for those whose heart is broken by such sweet love, for it is only because we have loved that we know sorrow. Uncle Basil had and has a special place in my heart, we had some precious times together around God's word around our family table. Even as a child I was always excited to see him, My heart was light and very happy when ever he came to visit . I was keenly aware that my Father enjoyed his friendship and that is was treasured. As a young man I went to him for advice and he helped me navigate some difficult waters. I miss his smile and warm embrace...but I shall always thank my Gd for every remembrance of him.
