I remember first meeting Sue in 1992 right before I got out of the Army. Going to see a Tulsa Drillers baseball game. I remember her passion in adopting & becoming Wanda's mother. The love, understanding, & acceptance she showed me as I struggled to come out & be true to myself. The kindness she showed to Amilkal as he came into my life. Our Thanksgiving in Cancun. Her wonderful trips to NYC. The love & support she showed me when Al & I hit a rough spot in our relationship. Her compassion & support for refugees. I'm so grateful that my Dad introduced & brought Sue into our lives. And so grateful that Sue brought Wanda into our lives. Be at peace Sue. You are loved. 💕💕💕💕
