The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sandy Apala can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Linda, our deepest heartfelt condolences goes out to you and your entire family. It is truly a tragic event to loose someone so close to you! Patty and I have both loss parents, but never a child. The loss for all of you will run deep, but time usually lessens the loss and pain you feel today. Grieving is a process and everyone touched will grieve at different rates, but it does take time. It is at a time like this that the good, cherished moments of the past with Sandy outweigh any negative ones any of you may hold. Remember, life is a process and we should all cherish our loved ones today, for we know not what tomorrow will bring.
