I am sorry to hear of Barry's passing. I tried to get in contact with him before he passed, but no one would respond back to me. Barry and Tana are my father's half siblings. When Carl was stationed in Japan during the war, he created a son with my grandmother Shizue. My dad was sent to America and adopted, but he always kept in touch with his Japanese family. All I ever new of Carl was his name and that he was from Indiana. I have pictures of him, and one of he and Shizue together. I have posted it on Ancestry.com. When I did my DNA, I was finally able to find everyone on this side of our family tree. We would love it if anyone could connect with us. My dad(David Winters) was raised as an only child. We would be so excited to meet Tana or anyone from this side of the family tree.
