Pastor Joe DiDonato

I could write a book on the impact Dave had on my life and our overall family. It all started when my first son was born with a pancreas that did not function. He has been given insulin shots since he was a baby. I'll never forget Dave showing me his prayer list one day walking into church and my sons name was right on the top. He prayed for Joey every day and he is now 37 and doing great. David attended the Sunday School Class I taught and always encouraged me in many ways. I went into full-time ministry and even hit some low points and really struggled, David reached out to me in some really loving unique ways. My sons all played various sports at South Fayette High School when our biggest rivalry was Fort Cherry. I have some awesome videos that only Dave could put together giving me and the boys a hard time whenever we were victorious. He especially got on me when I coached baseball at SF and we went up against his son-in-law. We have great memories on tape thanks to not only Photographer Dave, but Camera Man Dave. During my years as the Chaplain at the Meadows David was always the first one to greet the bus or van I would drive over to Central. I always had the kids shout out "Hi Dave" or "Good Morning Dave." When it comes to Christians who are the "real deal" and men I highly respect, Dave is on the top of my list! Sympathy is extended to all the family from my family. He was a great friend to my wife and three sons too. I know he has already heard those words "Well Done My Good And Faithful Servant!" Yes David, Your Buddy Joey D from "North Side" (He always teased me about that) says, "Well Done My Friend!"
