A mans facts and figures never tell a painted story. Terry was more than my dad, he was my hero. A mixure of old and new school. He worked hard every day of his life as far as i could tell but when i was a kid he took time out to play basketball( in cutoff jean shorts) He took me and my step brother fishing which was what he called church. He wasnt perfect, but i guess he showed me it was ok to be flawed and still be kind to your neighbor. I sit here thinking of all the things i wish i could have said to him but i really just want to give him a hug and wish him safe travels.
