I was destined to meet you Orpha!
First as my mom's room mate and then as someone I had the privilege to serve
You and "Buddy" were always an inspiration to those around you!
I had to chuckle when "Buddy" told me stories of when you dated and were first married...you sure must have been spunky in those days!
The unconditional love I sensed and saw"Buddy"demonstrate was something I hope that I live out in my own life
I will miss those times at 3 and 4 in the morning when you weren't able to sleep or when we were getting around for the day, when we would sing hymns together. I remember leaving the hymnal in the drawer beside your bed...we were gonna need it again anyway!
What I remember most is when you sang "Amazing Grace" with all of your might!
The very first time I heard you I remember tearing up.
There was always a peace and a calm about you and if I was having a bad day, yes I would duck into your room to see you until I felt better!
I love you Orpha....you will be missed!
We will meet again on the other side!
