Mary Meringolo

My condolences on the loss of your beloved husband and dad. He was a wonderful man--kind, patient, smart, and hardworking. I admired him greatly. He was one of those people who was always smiling. As I say, he had "smiling eyes." Not only was he a skilled worker at IBM but he excelled at math, finance, working around the house and gardening. He also dabbled in painting (art)! He loved life and lived it to the fullest. I remember the flower bed he nurtured by his front porch and some of the paintings he did. He and Mrs. Dilworth would come into the restaurant I worked at and he was always (you were both) so sweet and friendly. I remember him patiently helping Peggy with math at the kitchen table. He was a devoted dad and husband. He was one of my dads good friends from our old neighborhood. My dad really liked him. The only consolation I have is that he is celebrating his earthly birthday along with his heavenly birth- day, with Jesus. My prayers are with you all!
