The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Msgr. WONDERFUL SPIRITUAL PASTOR

I JOINED SACRED HEART CHURCH AFTER MSGR CALKINS VISITED ME AT MY HOME IN MY DEEPEST PAIN AND LOWEST POINT IN MY LIFE.  TO MY WONDERFUL SURPRIZE I FOUND A VERY LOVING, KIND AND VERY SPIRIUAL PASTOR AND A  WONDERFUL CHURCH-FAMILY WHO HELPED PUT MY LIFE BACK TOGETHER.  I JOINED THE CHOIR  FROM 1998-2003, I SERVED AS A LECTOR FROM 1999-2013, A WAS A PASTORAL COUNCIL MEMBER FROM 2000-2002.  I MUST HONESTLY SAY THAT I RECEIVED SO MUCH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & SUPPORT THREW ALL MY UPS & DOWNS IN MY LIFE.  MSGR CALKINS WAS A PRIEST, COUNSELOR, FRIEND AND FATHER ALL IN ONE!!  WHAT A BLESSING TO THE UNIVERSE.  HE WAS ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEEDED HELP ESPECIALLY WHEN MY MOM WAS IN THE NURSING HOME, HE WANTED TO MEET HER AND HE DID.  WHEN SHE PASSED HE EVEN WAS THERE FOR ME, KNOWING I DONT DRIVE HE ALWAYS MADE SURE I HAD A RIDE.  I KNOW MSGR CALKINS SPIRIT IZ WITH US ALL.....AND I HAVE BEEN SO VERY "BLESSED" TO HAVE HAD MSGR CALKINS AS A PASTOR, COUNSELOR, FRIEND AND FATHER FOR 14 YRS.  MAY YOU DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST MSGR CALKINS.....I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.
