Condolences

Condolence From: Scott and Leslie Bateman
Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing and know that he will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends. Scott says he always enjoyed his donut runs with Leo when he was young, and when we both stayed with your Mom and Dad on a trip to Toronto, Leo kept the tradition alive by taking us to Tim Horton's for mushroom soup and, of course, donuts. We are so happy that you were able to to be with him until the end, Evelyn. I'm sure he was greatly comforted by your watchful care. Our condolences to each of you at this time of loss. May your beautiful memories bring you comfort and peace.

Condolence: So sorry to find out of Leo's passing. Both Dolly and Leo are, and will be, well remembered by their neighbours within 2779 Gananoque Drive. Had many casual and warm conversations with both, in front of our little group of units. Wonderful people. Rest well.

Condolence From: Bruce and Karin Sumbler
Condolence: We knew Leo through Norm and Gabi for many years. He was always friendly and kind to us. We particularly remember visiting in Utterson after a trip to Port Sydney during our annual Algonquin adventures. We never made it for one of the traditional bingo sessions but enjoyed the pizza at the house with a big crowed that he didn't seem to mind. To all the Thompson Family, we send our condolences and peace while you go through this time of loss.

Condolence: Dad, you were the best father-in-law any man could ever ask for. All those years ago, thank you so much for giving me permission to marry your beautiful daughter Evelyn. You welcomed me with open arms and such kindness and love. I have been so honored to have seen myself enmeshed into the Thompson clan. Evelyn, Ron, Norm, Tonya and families, all my love to you and your/our children, with the passing of this terrific man, this incredible Gumpo. Families are forever. Until we meet again Dad, fair winds and following seas....
