The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bart Fite can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dearest Dorothy, Van and I are deeply sorry for your loss and we are grieved that we have not been home to offer our support and love at this most difficult time. Are hearts were broken when we read the news. Please know we love you and are praying for you and your family, especially Ann, Carleigh, Cole, Margie, Cole and Victoria. I've known Bart for almost 40 years as we are the same age and share many of the same friends. Gary and Greg, I am so sorry for your loss of your brother and life long best friend. My prayers are with you and hundreds of others who are morning the loss of such a warm, friendly and caring person. My favorite memory of Bart was when we both took our children the the MRMC childcare facility. Bart was always so patient and observant of Carleigh. He allowed her to walk at her own little two-year old pace, never picking her up to rush her in and drop her off for the day like the rest of us. If Carleigh wanted to stop and check out a rock, watch a butterfly going by or stopped to say 'Hi', Bart watched her patiently and just smiled. His love for her was evident. You are missed my friend but will remain alive within all of who called you our friend.
