During my many years of friendship with Cindy and Lloyd, I has the privilege of sharing meals with Les at their home, and having many chance encounters with him on my way through Winnipeg. He was charming, witty, and kind, and always had a friendly, welcoming smile that made me feel at home. My heart goes out to his family. I hope there is some comfort in knowing that his life, while not always easy, was well-lived and so obviously full of love. He will not be forgotten.
