It is with a broken heart I send my sincerest condolences to my Uncle Ray, and my beautiful cousins, Jenn, Tanya, and Alison and all the grands. Aunt Mert was a favorite of mine, always soft-spoken and smiling. I never heard her say an unkind word. I remember when I was a kid and for some reason I was reading our phone bill. I didn't recognize a phone number that was to an air base in Texas...so being the curious kid I was, I called it! What a surprise it was to hear Aunt Mert's voice on the other end and I think she was just as surprised! She ended up talking to my Mom and there was laughter so I knew everything was okay. Haha - great memories of all our get-togethers at Mawmaw and Pawpaw's on Sundays. Those were the days and I'm so glad we made many memories. I love you all so very much and will keep you in my prayers as the days go by. Aunt Mert is reunited with so many who've gone before us. I'm sure she's enjoying her new wings and the Angels are loving her laughter.
