Deborah L. O’Leary (Peters), age 62, of Toledo, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Hospice of Northwest Ohio of Toledo on May 6, 2017. Deborah was born on November 18, 1954 to Mary L. She was a proud volunteer Deputy for the Lucas County Sherriff’s Auxiliary, and she retired from Oregon City Schools after 10 years of service. Those that knew Deborah knew her best for her feisty personality and great sense of humor. She was an avid music lover of all genres, and our fondest memories are of her will always be her singing, dancing, and laughing. Deborah and her family also enjoyed many great summers on their boat on Lake Erie. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Deborah is survived by her children; daughter, Mary F. O’Leary; son, Jason R. Jones; granddaughters, Francisca M. Pizana and Mariah R. Tanis; sister, Carol J. Peters (Dawn); brother, Brian K. Rector; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews that are too many to name; extended O’Leary family whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother; Mary L. Peters; sister, Lois A. Lynch; grandmother, Maude L. Florence Rector; grandfather, Louis V. Rector; mother in-law, Frances M. O’Leary, and, father in-law; John J. O’Leary.
