The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ray Hammond can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My sincere condolences Gloria, my cousin Ray was a incredible strong willed man, never complained of his disabilities or his failing health, always joking and laughing, remained positive throughout all his accomplishments despite his mobility problems. I was honored to have attended his 70th Birthday shared with his Family and Friends. Little did we know that would be the last for Ray. So now we will celebrate his Life. Ray told me he was so lucky to have Gloria in his life, his only regret was he had wished he and Gloria had met many years prior, he loved and adored her. Gloria, you were such a great person for him, you were his Angel, you did what many wouldn't, you stuck by his side and done everything that needed to be done, and never complained. You were a great Mother and companion, perhaps that is why God took him on Mother's Day, we will all miss him, and I will not forget You and Ray on Mother's Day. Gloria I consider myself very fortunate to have met you and your Family through Ray, my Mother felt the same sentiments. So Gloria keep your head up and remain strong, grieving lasts forever, we never forget, remember the good times, I'm going to miss my Cousin..."Rest In Peace Ray"
