We live on Glenmoor Rd in Canon City. Just to the west of our backyard and garden is a large hayfield that was part of the Canon City Abbey Farm when we moved here in 1976. Within a short time I became acquainted with Milan. We visited across the fence quite often as I too have a farm and ranch background. I think we both enjoyed our visits together. I visited him after his retirement at his new home. He told me he had nothing to do and so wished he could be back irrigating the Abbey fields again. We were truly saddened to see the obituary for Milan recently. He was a friend 'across the fence'. Our sympathies. Roy & Linda Roper
