Aunt Jeanne never let me forget the time at Laramie Peak when a middle-aged man asked me to dance. It was in the summer of 1976 or 1977? The Roos’s, Siegel’s, and Roquet’s were camping at Glendo Reservoir and we met up with Duncan’s and Scott’s one night at Laramie Peak. We were early arrivals because not too many people were there. I remember sitting along the walls of the dance floor with brother Doug and friends Dave and Joel when Aunt Jeanne came over to talk to us and then out of no where comes this man and asks me if I want to dance. I’m not sure if it was my long hair (That 70’s Show, Kelso’s hair style???) or cute smile but Aunt Jeanne got the biggest laugh and never let me forget it. Thanks Aunt Jeanne, I love it when you tell the story. I will miss you and especially the way you told it - your nephew Paul Roquet.
