I have fond memories of your dad. He was my sixth grade teacher at McDonald Elementary School. I believe that I was his teacher's pet. Male teachers at that time wore shirts and ties to school. I remember giving him a necktie for Christmas. He then taught at Fort Cherry when he must have been in charge of a winter dance. He chose me to be a coat check girl. I was in ninth grade and wore a new dress that evening. I begged my mom to let me shave my legs for the occasion, too. So your dad was responsible for me shaving my legs for the first time. May he rest in peace.
