Please forgive this late entry, but I just heard about Mrs. Fritz's passing. She was my first teacher when I was at Ferndale School in St. Catharines. Her kind and gentle ways helped me enjoy learning - so much so that now I am a teacher. I love the picture you show here. She looks beautiful and I remember that smile! There are few teachers in the world who have that magical quality to them, the kind that changes something inside of a student, but Kathleen had it. My condolences to her friends and family. She was well loved and the effects of her teaching will continue on through me and through every life lucky enough to have been affected by her warmth and generosity of spirit.
