Growing up as a kid when I heard that Uncle Bill and Aunt Betty were coming to stay I felt like we were being visited by celebrities. Bill was so tall and handsome and Betty so modern and chic. A perfect couple and when they arrived after long anticipation, such a breath of fresh air they brought. First thing BIll would do is bee line to my brother Tim and I and swoop us up to the sky till our tiny heads just brazed the ceiling, and brought us back to earth making our tummies feel as though we had just taken a roller coaster ride. Oh how we giggled. Bill loved to joke, and once when my daughter and I without notice stopped by their house, Bill said, Betty and I are taking you guys to lunch. He said we have a wonderful McDonald's in town, (ha! ha!) and then we walked to a very nice restaurant called Shorty's and found ourselves seated next to Arnold and Maria Schwarzenegger. I remember thinking to my self BIll should have been a movie star, he's much better looking, taller and funnier than The Terminator, but Bill was happiest being a great father to his gorgeous and talented girls, a loving husband to Betty and living in his mountain paradise town, Sun Valley ID where everyone knows his name. Uncle Bill you will be missed! Betty and girls stay strong, Pep and I wish we could attend the memorial but will be unable to do so. We send our love and condolences. Rest In Peace Uncle Bill, it's reassuring you have gone to be with Julie, Earl, and grandpa Duke in a much better place. Love Cindy and Pepper
