Do you have an apple

Harold took me hunting at the cabin one afternoon and I did not have a watch.  I was young. he sat me down and told me he would be back around dark.  I wasn't seeing anything and the afternoon started to get long.  I began to think all kinds of things like "maybe he forgot me" or "what if he doesn't remember where I'm sitting".  I was scared and I found myself yelling his name.  "Harold"  Finally he answered me and asked what I wanted.  I was too embarrassed to tell him I was scared so I said, "Do you have an apple?  I'm hungry."  He said well here's an apple but did you not hear that turkey gobbling?  You scared him away.  Harold never left me forget about the apple.
