I really did not know Aunt Texanna all that well, saw her a few times when I was very young. But one time really stood out, when I was about ten, we were visiting Aunt Rita in Oregon and she took us to viist Aunt Tex. I remember a warm feeling when we got there, you could feel the love. Her son Phillip had a band and they played several songs for us. I remember being impressed with how good he was. Right then and there I decided I was going to get a guitar and learn how to play. Soemtimes when I was going throu Oregon as a truck driver, I would call her and Aunt Rita. I actually got to stop once and visit Aunt Rita, but I never got to visit Aunt Tex, but I always thought of her when I went through Roseburg. I know she will be dearly missed, but I also know she and her sisters are having an awesome family reunion now!
