Hi there, I am responding for the Downes'family, extended. Bill Downes, my husband, and Ivy, his Twin sister (Ivy Foley, married to Doug), were former neighbours of Sheila and Herb on Shangarry Dr. Scar. many years ago. Ivy and Doug will be 77 in a few weeks, Thanksgiving. What a lovely picture of Sheila and a great write-up of her long life and commitment to guiding as well as other community service, besides being a wonderful Mom and loving partner to Herb. Sheila has been a truly a wonderful example for her children, their children, and all the young Guides she supported along the way A job very well done, I'd say. You folks must be very proud of her and happy to have enjoyed her company all these years. Enjoy the memories. Ivy and Doug live in Stouffville, and we live in Udora.
