Growing up, Betty was my "other" mom. Her daughter, Linda, was my best friend. We got into lots of mischief and embarked on many epic adventures. We thought we were too clever to ever get caught, but our parents always knew what we were up to. Betty was always loving and gentle as we learned life's lessons. Linda's illness and passing were hard on Betty, but it was impossible to break such a kind and loving spirit. She touched people with her gentleness. Now, in the arms of the Lord, it's soothing to know she's reunited with all those she loved so dearly and lost. Peace, Betty.
