Pastor Robert Edwin Crews, 77, of Memphis, TN passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family after over 40 years of ministry in Memphis, TN.  Pastor Crews leaves behind his wife, Iris A. Crews of 55 years, his daughter Angela Crews Hudgins of Memphis, TN, his son Robert M. Crews of Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pastor Crews was truly an inspirational man of God who was admired and respected because of his dedication to family, church, and ministering to the world.  Over his life time, he consistently demonstrated a God given ability to rise to any challenge that he faced in the ministry or any other endeavor.  All of us here on Earth will greatly miss his amazing strength and wisdom. We are happy for him to be at home reaping the blessings of a very long and blessed life that he dedicated to sharing the faith and promises of God. Please join us in prayer for his family and congregation as we prepare to say thank you for everything you have done for us and to celebrate the life of a truly magnificent man. 

Arrangements for his celebration of life are as follows: Friday Visitation: 5:30 till 9:00 pm. Saturday Service Begins at Noon with visitation from 12:00 till 1:00 pm and Memorial Services beginning at 1:00 pm with late lunch served after.  All events will take place at the church - New Life Church: 1747 Bartlett Road, Memphis, TN 38134. All flowers should be delivered Thursday and/or Friday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
