I enjoyed many visits with Vern and Hazel in their home. Hospitality characterized their lives. There were many things that Vern did in the way of encouraging people. He will certainly be missed. His smile was a welcome sight. His practical and honest conversations about the Lord's work were helpful to me on many occasions.
