"To Marlys" For nearly nineteen years, I have had the privilege of being Marlys' neighbor. In that amount of time a week has not gone by that I have either visited with her in her home or talked to her on the telephone. I wish everyone could be as fortunate as I have been to have Marlys as a neighbor. Over the years Marlys became more than my neighbor. She became a part of my family. My children loved her as an additional grandmother, and she love them back. To me she became a second Mom. With Marlys' passing our little corner of the world is a little less bright. However, if you look up towards the Heavens you will see a shiny new star! Thank you, Marlys, for being a wonderful neighbor and for being a part of our family. We love you!
