The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Forrest "Boosky" Miller can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Linda Akins Walker

Yesterday after Worship @Northside Baptist Church Hartman Overton told me Boosky had passed away. He thought I'd want to know because I'd asked him if they had been in contact. I vividly remember the men's quartet singing at Northside back circa the early 60s. Boosky, Hartwell Overton, Don Kissiah, plus 1 I don't remember! My parents, Harvey & Louise Akins, & I lived a few miles from Boosky on Derita. Hi Debby! U & I were childhood friends! Susie, I know I havent seen u n close to 50 years! To the 2 of you, plus the entire family, please accept my condolences. I was best friends with Linda Miller Mullis. We rode our ponies w/her father Joseph & her Uncle Boosky when they lived on Graham St in Derita when Derita was rural! I knew Linda's big brother, Robert, who married another childhood friend from Northside, Debbie Peacock. I remember Boosky's sense of humor, singing & that he wad a good & godly man. Earth's loss was heaven's gain!
