The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marshall Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Good Man

I worked for Marshall in El Paso while in truck sales in the late 1970s.  Looking back, Marshall really needed a much more experienced employee but got me - a freshman at UTEP who now had his first real job.  Marshall treated me like I had 20 years in truck sales and taught me not only how a dealership sales floor worked, but inventory management, and most importantly, how to work with people.  Marshall was sincerely interested in my development and was always teaching me while working.

I remember Marshall's quick wit and always finding humor in almost every situation.

The investments Marshall made in me and the lessons I learned while working with him helped lay the foundation for my 33+ year career in the auto industry.

I consider myself blessed for having known Marshall and am saddened by his passing of which I just learned.  Blessings and peace to you Hazel and all of your family.
