Mr. Ebel was my first soccer coach.  I cannot remember the outcome of a single game.  But throughout the years whenever I would see him, he would always great me with a smile and ask if I remembered the Maroons (the color of our shirts).  Of course I did.  I continue to be involved in youth soccer thanks in no small part to the awesome introduction I had to soccer.  Rest in Peace Mr. Ebel.
