I was very sorry to hear of Coach Bennett's passing. He was such a wonderful man. His contributions to the Palatka community are immense and far-reaching. It was partly due to a conversation with Coach Bennett back in the '80s that I decided to go into teaching and coaching as a career. His legacy as a Christian, coach, and mentor has touched so many. Thank you, Coach!
