Obituary for Diana L. Kay

Diana Lynn Kay passed away February 1, 2018 at her home. Diana was born October 2, 1949 in Battle Creek to Lawrence and Thelma (Hiscock) Kay. Diana lived in the southwest Michigan area all her life, graduating from Battle Creek Central and Michigan State University. A social worker and UAW member, Diana enjoyed helping others, traveling, and visiting the casino. Diana was an avid reader and foodie. Diana is survived by her son: Joe (Jenny Trout) Erwine; daughter: Katie Erwine; a brother: Jerry Kay; sister: Nancy (Howard) Sandusky; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her chosen family, including her best friend: March Walker. Diana was preceded in death by her parents. At Diana’s request, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
