I saw Mark most often in my 20's when we all worked in the Cincinnati video production community. He was one of my favorite guys to work with because he was so funny and seemingly perpetually irritated, but it was just to make us laugh. He was a gentle soul and would do anything for his friends. He worked hard to make his way in this life and I will always have happy memories of him being such a great guy. RIP, Mark, I will miss you.
I have fond memories of Mark from when he played on my VFW "D" Knothole Baseball team in 1972. That was a very successful team, and the fun I had managing Mark and his teammates that year made me want to keep coaching. Both parents gave this very young coach great support, for which I have always been grateful. Brother Tim played for me two seasons. I have nothing but great memories of young Mark and the Oliver family. My deepest condolences.
