It was never about Linda. Her life was about serving those around her. She did not look at you, she looked in you, and her extremely bright mind would begin churning and calculating. The evaluations she could come up with were not for the purpose of judgement, but to see what made you tick, to see what you liked and did not like, to see what you needed.
Linda's life was about her family, immediate, extended, and adopted. She was fiercely loyal. I was not around them but a few times but I felt like I knew them because of Linda's expressions of them.
Linda loved Bob!
A phrase that Linda taught me was, "You choose. You get to choose, Connie!", having to do with not acting like a victim, but taking personal responsibility for actions and reactions. She taught me a great deal in the short time I had the priviledge to be around her.
Linda knew that God was a God of unconditional love and grace. That is what she offered to others. Linda was a giver. She will be missed.
