I have such fond memories of visiting my Tante Erna and Uncle Peter, Daniella, Berndardt, and infant Peter, Jr. during my childhood - and them visiting us. Tante Erna was especially sweet and kind, always making us feel welcome - Uncle Peter too! We called them Aunt and Uncle even though they were really friends, but they certainly earned their titles. I'm sorry our families lost touch over the years and my parents are now deceased. But I will always remember the Croatian dances and picnics we attended with them and the love they shared with us. I have nothing but fond memories and love for them both!
