Worked with Jim, in a survey crew. He had just got back from the Army. We had some great times playing cards at lunch. We were taking levels and came down to a shot that was the bottom of the rice canal. the guy running the rod wasn't doing it right and Jim who was running the transit came over, took the rod and waded off into the canal up to his chest to show how you got an accurate shot. He will be missed.
