A day in Chippewa

I met Chanel and the rest of the Miller family through my best friend Natasha. I went along to visit the family and remember their mother after she had passed away.  We ended up going to a park with a zoo. I remember watching the peacocks and other animals, hiking through the woods down to the river (while I was wearing a short skirt and sandals), and having a picnic in the park. My clothes weren't the most practical for a hike up and down wooded trails but Chanel always gave me a hand and made sure I was safe. It was a very fun day. I felt like I was a kid again and it is a fond memory. We then drove through town and Chanel and Natasha pointed out famiy landmarks and told me stories about when they were little. Chanel was so kind and welcoming, and upbeat and fun. She is missed.
