Caring Dad and Supportive Parent

This news really shocked me. He's such a humble person that he would like to help friends and people around him as much as he could. His son goes to my school for private tutoring and we used to talk a lot how we could help his son together. His daughter also worked at my school as assistant teacher and he always said to mentor her and help her with college application process. His wife is also a very caring mom with pleasant personality. Such a beautiful family!

I still remembered what he said once.

'You know what, Ko Yan Aung. I'd rather send my kids to your school than sending to other famous centers. I trust you and I'd like to support your business as well. Your school is a break-through in Burmese community. Please keep up a good work.'

Thank you, Ko Tommy.

Your words really encouraged me to keep on working what I believe is right.
Your words really helped me weather through all the hardships I encountered these days.
How can I find a supportive friend and trustworthy person like you again in my life!

Sometimes while waiting for his son, we talked outside and he gave me lots of priceless suggestion regarding my business. We talked a lot about everything ranging from our struggles as immigrants to political situations in Burma. I would be missing those moments, Ko Tommy.

Once, I got invited to his house for dinner and we discussed about his daughter's college education. I still remembered every single words we said. I heard this sad news last night over the phone while I was teaching my students.

Literally, I collapsed. You will be dearly missed, Ko Tommy.

It's such a loss to his family and Burmese community as well. I'll help your kids reach their goals and realize your dream. You have my words.

So long, Ko Tommy.....
Please rest in peace....
