My second Dad

Pops, I have no words to describe the loss I feel that you are no longer here.  The words "lady in black"  were always the warm welcome I received from you whenever I visited.  I loved when you would come over for dinner whenever Andrea and Dave were away on vacation.  I always had your beers in the champagne bucket waiting for you and a meatloaf in the oven.

I promise to always be there for Andrea becase as you know losing you is beyond difficult for her.  I will be sure she always remembers the fun times you all had - all the cruises with you so debonair in your tux, bocce on the lawn, your special orange juice, your attendance at all the dinner parties and cook outs, and your famous answer whenever asked a question "yah yah".   And the card shark that you were left all of us defeated almost every time!  lol

Wednesday I will be your lady in black one last time.  You will forever be in my heart.

I love you.
