I've spent 35 of my 47 years with Ron in different capacities and in different environments. As a kid I got the pleasure of working with him at his wrecking yard and he taught me a lot. The value of things like a piece of steel half buried in the dirt that I'd normally walk by or stripping wire and pounding copper in a steel drum but most of all he taught me the value of old fashion hard work. In my time at home he also taught me many things like how to look after a house, treat the lady you love and provide for your family without complaining of how hard or never ending it could be. I was a fortunate man to have had him in my life and he'll be greatly missed but never forgotten. I read a poem that I thought fit well for him so I thought I'd share it.
