Those of us fortunate enough to know and Love our Friend Jim Alford share a special sense of loss today. But that's the way it goes with great men - they are sorely missed by those of us left behind. Our work community was so enriched by the creative expertise of Jim, the project manager, engineer, solutions guy, and teammate. Most recently he was seen busily leading us to achieve our goals, and helping to train a new employee who has limited real estate and engineering training. That didn't stop Jim from seeing the earnest effort and potential of the newbie. Jim was like that. Enjoying the gifts of others, giving of his talents, and making all of us better. It's Friday and I am sad not to have my friend Jim stop by and share his weekend plans. He was always thrilled to report plans with family - especially his son - and I looked forward to Monday's when Jim had stories to tell. Brilliance, grace, compassion - Jim Alford. Brother, we will miss you. Thank you for contributing your greatness. We know you will bless us and your family with your prayers from heaven. We will forever keep you in ours. Gordon Bell and family
