Bob Hooven
I enjoyed working with Marlin in his retirement years as he volunteered at Camp Joy-El. I can still remember him riding in on his shiny red, I believe Harley, motorcycle. I wish there would be many more Godly men like Marlin around today. He was an excellent role model for young men. Any time I thought about Marlin, I always thought he was forever young. Because of that memory, this Bob Dylan song lyrics below comes to mind. I pray that his legacy will carry on through all the lives he has touch and impacted for Christ. I know that 25+ years later I still remember our good times together. I will be looking forward to spending more time with Marlin in the not too distant future.

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
