Message: I wish more younger people could had known Sam. A man that served his country during WWII,. Did what was expected and paid a price with permenant knee injuries, yet rarely complained. He was very humble and took pride in taking care of his family and paying his own way in life. Enjoyed the simple things in life. A real outdoorsman, fishing, crabing, boating, and working the earth. A genuine self-made man. I am honored to have known him and wish I had spent more time with him.
