Obituary for Richard Prokopowicz
Richard J. Prokopowicz, 71,of Seaside Heights, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2019 with his family by his side.
Born in Hillside, N.J., he lived in Clark before moving to Seaside in 2008.
Richard was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam.
He worked as a Floor Trader at the N.Y.S.E. for 42 years for Bache & Co., Paine Webber/UBS and then as an independent Floor Broker until 2007. He then worked for Addison Lee from 2009 until present.
Surviving is his wife of 25 years Rosemary (Hudak), a daughter Jennifer Rose, three sons Jeffrey, Justin and James Zavila, a brother Joseph and a sister Joanne Petrosky.
Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 809 Central Avenue, Seaside Park, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated February 11, 2019 10:00am at the Parish of St. Junipero Serra at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, Seaside Heights, NJ. Committal will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Administration.
