I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Merla and I were such good friends in our younger years, then our busy schedules with work and children made us lose touch. I was actually driving back from Traverse City today and thought about her, that I should make time to visit on my way home. When I reached home I found a message from my cousin regarding her death. A very sad lesson for me. My heart is heavy with sadness and filled with sorrow for all of you. She was always so gentle and kind---full of laughter and love for everyone.
