Gladys & Ronald Penistan

To the David Smitka Family, We are so sorry to have lost a very dear friend and neighbor. But, we have so many good memories of our times at the lake. We spent a lot of time with Margaret and Bill but it was so special to the four of us when the children would come up. They would just laugh and be so happy to watch the older ones sit by the fire, relax and watch the little ones doing their thing. We won't tell anyone what Healy liked to do, honey it is only one of the many stories that keeps our memories alive. Not to mention the moving of the boat docks every spring and fall.David may not have been able to do that, but at least he saw their children get married and had a few years with their beautiful grandchildren. It was a very sad time when we moved away. However, We are happier to remember the good olde days. The street is just not the same without our generation. We do stay in touch with the new generation on Facebook, and enjoy their get togethers and the pictures very much. Our thought and prayers go with all of you. We will miss him as much as we have missed his parents.
