Betty Curington Prather
Jody Rogers was a popular man in the Curington household. My Dad, Jim Curington, thought the world of him. I have very fond memories of him and Dad coaching my brother Phil's baseball team. Jody was not only a great coach because of his baseball knowledge but was a good role model for the kids. I had the privilege of talking to him before he got so ill, and we relived the year their team won the championship against great odds. He chuckled at how they were "not supposed to win." When my brother passed away Jody showed great compassion. He was a good man, honest and unpretentious. It was a honor to have known him. He will be missed. May God Bless you all and comfort you as He alone can.
