Erik Wohlfarth
After joining the Hummelstown Swim Club several years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs."G," and hearing stories about her. She always had a smile for me and my children. In my mind, I thought what an incredible woman, in so many ways. My mother had Mr."G" as a health/phys.ed. teacher at John Harris High School. And, Doug Wohlfarth was the founder of the Hummelstown Swim team, so we had discussions about those connections. She made me smile and laugh with her stern, motherly, nature, as she rallied the troops of parents and children for different activities at the HSC. I always smiled and laughed, and she smiled back and gave me a wink! I will always remember her very fondly, and miss her presence at the pool in the years to come- it will not be the same, but her spirit will always be there, as she smiles down upon us in the rays of the sun. There will never be another Mrs. "G." God will enjoy her spirit, as she gives him her worldly advice and direction, from time to time. What a wonderful woman who influenced so many lives! My deepest condolences to all her family and friends through this difficult time. Celebrate her life in the days to come- she will certainly want that! God bless you Mrs. "G"
