Mrs. Kessler, I feel so sad to have learned that you had recently passed away. My deepest condolences to your family. I remember you being a wonderful mother to your daughters. You were always there for them, got involved & offered them good advice. You accepted their friends. You were a very warm, loving & inviting person, someone who had faith in God, a great role model of what a mother & a woman should be.... Someone I'll never forget! Your spirit will live on in the hearts of all the lives you've touched! Looking for the right words to express myself, I came across this quote that brought me back to a wonderful memory.... "Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." It reminded me of a camping trip I came along on with you & your family. It was during that trip, one night, in the sky, I saw more stars than I've ever seen before, clusters of them shimmering like diamonds. They appeared so close, I felt as if I could touch them. I was amazed! I'll never forget that beautiful experience! It's etched in my memory. From now on, every time I see a star, I will think of You, My Dad & All those I have loved & lost. I will look at the stars as a sign, letting us know you are happy & sending your love, waiting for us to meet again on the next plateau that God has planned for us. Thanks for the memories. May your soul rest in peace in Heaven! <3
