My family and I were so sad to hear the news of Chris passing. He touched the lives of countless people who were so fortunate to have known him. My children were blessed to have him as an enthusiastic teacher and I admired Chris as a colleague at St. Edmund's Academy. I stood side by side with him when we watched the tragedy of 9/11 unfold on his computer and stood speechless as we held hands, hugged and prayed. Our school community was so enriched by his presence! Not only did we witness the love he found with Miriam but he always shared stories of 'back home' with family and pictures of his beautiful nieces. The world has lost such a kind and talented man.
